Ok this is actually a vanilla fluff list. It's for 1850 but totals 1845. Maybe Ghazzy will get a grot.

I looked for a moment and thought you only had two squads of troops. Look again and see that this list is an awesome green tide. I think it would be fun to play against. The only problem with the list is the fact there is little to deal with AV 14, whichat1850 points there will be a fair bit of.

I liek it, but I'd probably throw lootas into squads of 5 and do 3 squads of 5 for more target saturation, or a big mek w/ kff up front attached to a squad with one and good placement you can pull off a 5+ cover save for everything up front and a 4+ cover save for everything behind

It's fairly straight forward but it does have two weaknesses. Lack of anti tank as posted above.

Also Shoota boys are meant to overload infantry units with save rolls. Putting rockets in them counters this as you only get 1 shot with each which will most likely miss. I would replace them with big shootas.

Your opponent will certainly have his hands full trying to kill all those Orks though. Looks fun.

Don't think it's an invulnerable save for the KFF. It's 5+ cover for the front rank, right?

its 5+ cover for any unit within the bubble. Vehicles count as obscured.

Was thinking I might even be able to convert it to a gun line (lol) for a horde list.

Oh sub question: can your list change from match to match in a tourney?

It depends on the specific tourney, but generally no unless stated otherwise.

Ironically, I'd probably do better against this list with my marines than with my orks. Maybe. The problem with Green Tides, IMO, is that their strength is their weakness. Massive amounts of cheap models. This is why I prefer Kan Wall variations.....gives some tougher units that can have a good KFF save, protecting the boyz in turn. Either way, I'd personally run all sluggas because you're using Ghaz, so everyone can be running in close!

lootas min squad is 5, so you can't do 5, 5, 4, but 5,5,5 works well and makes your opponent either target them in small units and ignore the boys which is good, or they try to target the boys and you get to pop lots of transports... I do forsee problems vs necrons, dark eldar and mech eldar, but overall looks fun

I'd go 2 5 man squads of lootas, scrounge somewhere and then throw in a KFF. Ignore 1/3 of what your oppenent fires at you.

I'm almost ready to field that sombichin army.
