If a unit breaks from combat and flees ( example) 5inches away, taking it through a friendly ( or even enemy) unit and coming out the other side 1 inch away from the unit it fled through, if the enemy unit it broke from rolls higher, let's say a 6, it will be brought into contact with the enemy unit that was fled through ( or one inch away from the friendly unit the enemy unit fled through).

So.....does the unit pursuing still cut down the fleeing unit even though the enemy unit is "blocked" by the friendly or enemy unit in its way, or does the fleeing unit escape?

My impression is that, no matter what may be in the way of the pursuing unit, if it pursues and rolls higher then the fleeing units roll, the fleeing unit is automatically cut down and removed. Moving through another unit so that the pursing unit can't get to you doesn't mean anything. You've been caught, are dead and out.

Is that correct?

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

If the Persuing unit rolls higher then the Fleeing unit they are caught and destroyed immediatly(They don't run X inches and then get caught, they are caught immediatly)

The persuing unit then moves forward the distance it rolled. if it contacts an enemy unit it counts as having charged it.

That's what I figured. Thank you for the clarification.

Don't think of it as flee and caught.

To flee from combat, you've got to beat the roll of pusuit to get away; otherwise you're cut down where you stand.

The above are correct - youre thinking of fleeing from a charge, where they do indeed need to physically "catch" you, rolling higher than you is not sufficient.
