I am a horde ork player. I like big armies and fast games (and fast women with bad eyesight and low standards), That aside...
Would you be opposed to your opponent using a dice rolling app on his/her iPad if your game went faster?
Subquestion... lol... Do you know of any good dice rolling apps?
Sorry to have you do all my work for me.
Thanks,
Dr G

The cynic in me thinks it wouldn't be hard for someone to write a dice rolling app with a built-in cheat mode :(
But yes, there are dice rolling apps for IOS, some of them free - just search on "dice" in the app store. I can see one simply called Dice that can roll 20 dice at once on an iPad.

I wouldn't mind, personally. I would think that it would be good manners to offer to your opponent to use that same app for his rolls too. That way, if it is a screwy program, the results of its screwyness affect both of you equally. I doubt you could bring one of those to a tournament though, just because of the way those people are.

People would probably be fine with it, unless you happened to be winning.

I would suggest that both players should use the same method on all rolls. Dice do have certain biases, depending on make. Depending on what Random Number Generator the program uses, it might have biases as well. If both players use the same method, then everything is fair.

That's why they would be bought on the apple store.
Sure I can make a warhammer cheating app, but as soon as start to sell it people would find out quick.
The problem with that cynicism is that it's just as hard to print your own codex with false point costs as to write a dice cheating app.
Its remarkably easy to cheat at army builder.
It's even easier to cheat to cheat with measuring.
There has to be a point where we trust things as being legit, and the people were playing with.
