hi everyone,
when the new GK came out i bought crowe, draigo, 5 termies, 5 PA GK, a dread and a rhino, to compliment my deamonhunter army and i painted them as fast as I could. this is the first time i upload my minis to dakka i'll be uploading a mini each day starting today with crowe.
i wont upload my old deamonhunters because i painted them when i was getting started in the hobby....you know what i mean.

deathwatch marine from Praetors of Orpheus

I like to use marine miniatures instead of servitors for my henchmen squads, I say they are from the deathwatch and use the rules of the servitors so I can use them in the game.

Venerable dreadnought

With this miniature i wanted to paint those gothic arches like windows to the outer space.

The flames on Crowe's base look great, and the flaming skull is the proverbial cherry atop your fiery bowl of ice cream!!

The space effect between the arches on the Ven Dread, consider that one stolen. BY ME!! I love it, great idea and very nicely executed!!

I really like everything there!

Well, 99% of it. My only minor piece of criticism is that salamanders are always portrayed as having skin either like an african or jet black skin and red eyes.

Other than that though everything looks really good, and i really like the idea of using deathwatch marines as servitors

thakns, I first painted them black, then I painted some coarse white dots, I made them fine using more black paint, and finally I added a little bit of blue to the bottom.

well according to the fluff they indeed have jet black skin and red eyes, but im better at painting white faces and I prefer a good looking mini, so I claim its from a descendant chapter of the salamanders, based on another planet with lower levels of radiation.
