So having bought Tyberos the Red Wake from IA Badab War 2, I obviously want to use him.in games. But I want to incorperate him as my 1st Company Captain. I also am converting up a Vulkan He
'stan, and was.wondering if you can.take.IA characters, with a codex character.

Normally I would say it's perfectly fine, but why would you want to have Tyberos the Red Wake and Vulkan He'stan in the same army?

Because I love both the Tyberos model, and their CC abilities. Its not like I am doing it for the Chapter Tactics as my 1500pt list has 1 flamer, 1 Meltagun and a TL MM, and.no Thunder Hammers, and I have.no LC Termies for Tyberos to make troops.

IIRC it's no different than if you were to take ( for example) Lysander and Vulkan.

You only get to apply the chapter tactics from 1 of the characters, not both.

Yep. I would be applying Tyberos' Tactics as, like I said, I have 2 weapons for Vulkan to work with. 1 is on an Ironclad.

I don't think you'd want or need Vulkan in that list. Special characters are expensive, and at 1500 points you don't have the space for two and a decent army at the same time.

Fair point. Maybe Captain Aramus (Relic Blade, Combi melta and Hellfire rounds and artificer armour)
