Hello again !

About hidden deployment...
It says models in hidden deployment does not contribute to the order pool.
What is in hidden deployment ? Any units under a camo. marker / TO camo or only models with TO camo ?

Help me clarify all this =)

Camo markers are actually deployed on the board and thus contribute to the orders pool.

TO Camo troops deployed as TO Camo and AD troops are not on the board after deployment and thus do not contribute to the orders pool.
Spending an order to activate a TO Camo troop (turning it into a camo marker) allows this model to contribute to the pool next turn.
Spending an order to initiate an airborne deployment (AD) thus placing the model on the board allows it to contribute to the order pool next turn,

It is something only TO Camo figures can do. Because they are "not on the table" they do not contribute to the order pool until they are no longer hidden. On the turn after they are revealed, they can contribute as normal.

Other troops that are like this are Combat Jump troops that have not landed yet. If there is not a token or figure on the board they do not contribute to the order pool.

To do hidden all you do is write down where on the board the where figure is. When you move them, you put down a TO camo marker. You can also attack from Hidden and place your figure as normal. As long as it does nothing it remains hidden. The only things that can find a hidden figure is anything with the Sensor skill. Even then it must be within 8" of the hidden figure. They must also ask if there is anything hidden within the 8".

The figure can also combine Hidden deployment with Infiltration! So you can have them up to half way on the board and Hidden.

Ok, that's what I thought =)

So it comes to an other question.

What if :
In my opponent's turn, most of my models get killed.
All I have left is airborne units and TO models...Game Over I guess ?
I suppose that's where list building comes in =P ?

Having no physical models on the board does not mean you automatically lose or anything like that. Else all-AD armies couldn't exist.

But remember that if you did take that many losses, you need to check for "Retreat".
http://infinitythegame.wikispot.org/Retreat
Your TO Camo troops will drop down to CH: Mimetism and essentially be revealed.
Your AD troops cannot enter the board unless they're Religious Troops.

ooooh
Very interesting, looks like I missed that part
Seems like they thought of everything =)

BUT : What if your AD models and TO camo count for more than 40% ? =P

Then you're fine. Only outright losses/deaths count for Retreat.

Operate as normal and hope the game doesn't become a PassTurn-PassTurn affair and/or be thankful you're playing a Scenario.

Fine for the retreat rule.
But don't I need an order to get a TO camo or AD into play ?
But if all the units left do not generate orders...

Always, always play with a mission I think. This is not meant to be a game of just kill em.

You never go below two Orders.

EDIT - and both hidden and AD models enter the table using their own order anyway, not orders from the Order Reserve,

Thanks !

So AD and TO camo models do not add to the order pool but still generate 1 for themselves then ?

On an other note, is it better if I create a topic with questions, or different topics for different questions

If they are related post them in the same thread, if not do a new thread so it makes it easier to search.

Correct they don't give one to the pool but AD and TO use their "own order" to come onto the board. With TO their first order they use in the active turn is their own, so while you don't get their order in the pool that turn they get a "free order" when they come out of hidden deployment.

Sorry, I forgot to mention how they use their own order to come on the board!

I don't think I understand it still, so this is something I'll probably have to 'play through live' to fully "get it"!

I think it's worth playing a straight "play till you've killed 60% of the enemy force" mission for the first half-dozen or so games, personally.
