While the paintjob is good and not something I'd be able to replicate, you need to understand OSL theory more. The amount of orange down below in the leg area just seems to come out of nowhere if you use the amount of light near the missile pod as your reference source. It doesn't work.

I like the digi camo pattern. How did you do that?

Really cool! The rocket flying looks great and the paintjob is solid. Keep up the good work!

I really like the camo. I'm no expert, but i agree with what lotus said, you may want to tone down the orange around the leg.

Cool pose and paint scheme though!

i think some are forgetting exactly how bright the flash of a jet engine would probably be... like that of a muzzle flash at night... there is more then one might think..

The camo is simply awesome, and I, too, would like to know how you accomplished it.

The OSL is good, but others are right. It would be MUCH MUCH brighter on the model near the missile pod if there was that much light below on the base. Regardless, it still looks cool and I wouldn't give you crap about it if we met on a gaming table.

Lovin the OSL, but I do think some of the light would end up on the chest area. the camo is also great

A small brush, a steady hand and absolutely tons of time
Also the plasma cannon is off the storm raven kit.

I like the paint job, but his head is far too small.

Awesome work man. Kind of reminds me of a 'tau ironman' pose... like he's firing at a tank and will strike a cool pose with his back to the explosion (as all cool action poses should be)

Agree with the others on the source light though. OSL is hard to pull off at the best of times.

Definately wouldn't complain seeing that across the table though. Kudos for attempting (and pulling off) something new.

Really great work. In terms of the OSL, light pretty much radiates in all directions so unless there is something blocking the source, the ring of lighting needs to be roughly symmetrical. This means that either the arm and torso need a lot more lighting or the lighting shouldn't reach the base.

As a cool idea that I've seen on several really high-level models: Make the plasma glow blue and just as strongly and have the two light sources meet in the middle. Its something I've thought about but could never get up the nerve to try. Something about painting over an already awesome paintjob just makes me shudder

Keep up the good work
