ok ive been readin some info on what people think about sponsons on different versions of the russ... and alot of players are saying not to because you wont make full use of them if you move... now is it not true with lumbering behemoth you can move 6' and still fire your main gun, both sponsons, hull weapons and defensive weapon because based on what ive been reading it dosnt seem that way...

Lumbering behemoth basically makes your Turret an assault weapon. If you move 6" you can shoot the turret, and 1 other weapon, along with all defensive weapons.

So a moving Russ will fire its turret and either 1 sponson or its hull, and its Stubber/Stormbolter.

ya that does change a few things in my list idea :( and the fact i just glued sponsons on both my russes :/... the wording is kinda tricky kuzz it says moving 6' or not moved.. which i dunno why it would specify "not moved" since you would be obviously allowd to fire everything but im assuming thats because of the ordnance weapons?

Many people apprciate good spelling and grammar. In fact it's a rule here. I have no problems personally but them's da breaks.

Not quite sure what you mean in the last part there, but you can certainly still fire the main gun if its ordanance...and I still glued the sponsons on because they look better that way, even though I almost never use them!

Most people do use Ork speak. Who doesn't? But usually it's part of a joke or to emphasise a point or trying to explain what an Ork would say.

Internet slang and text speak are largely disliked and are highly discouraged. It's in the forum rules. I suggest you reread them. At the bottom right hand corner of every page.

Im new to posting in forums usually just read them, but with 40k people arn't always asking what i need to know so now im posting.

Side Note:
I feel bad for people with excellent reading skills but poor spelling and grammar skills, because they will get hated on when all there trying to do is get some info.

I don't tend to move my Russes around too much, so I tend to get quite a bit of usage out of the sponson guns. I usually just take heavy bolters though; the weight of fire is nice but cheap enough that if I do move I'm not losing out on some expensive plasma cannons or what have you.

Also, I seem to have been beaten to the punch on the grammar critics It's alright, you're nowhere near as bad as a lot of posters here.

Exactly right.

I apologise if I seemed like I was telling you off. That was not my intention. As I have said, I don't mind it. In fact, I get to here through a phone so I would prefer if I could use abbreviations all the time.

I was just trying to let you know before one.of the more serious grammar geeks squealled to the Mods for a little mispelling or a missing comma.

Heavy Bolters on a Punisher add a fair bit of dakka for very cheap price.
Other sponsons I wouldn't bother with, they're too expensive (Plasma) or inaccurate (Multi-melta).

If you expect the fight armies like Nixs and Orks, I suggest HF sponsons. Smae price as HBs, but are better against these as they tend to be up close and the template hits a lot. Cheap and accurate, if short ranged.
