Hey, just got a few questions:

Does this mean that this stat has already been doubled? I'm a bit confused by the wording here. Powerfists double strength, so I'm assuming this S5 is before the powerfist has been added on? Does your special powerfist add one strength AND double the final strength figure?

Just checking as well, are you aware that when a lascannon wounds him there is a 66% chance he will be removed due to the instant death rule?

If he is your chapter master you might want to reduce wounds by 1 and give him eternal warrior.

Also, the feel no pain area effect rule may be a little bit overpowered. You'd have to get some second opinions though. I'm not an expert on Space Marines. I just know that when I add a medic to my Imperial Guard Command Squad, FNP means they survive an awful lot of wounds.

Also, does this FNP rule affect Lord Maxiumus? If it does you're looking at a 2+ save with a 4+ FNP and 4 wounds. That's a nasty combination.

Thanks for that mate i completely forgot all about the effect of powerfists i just got wrapped up i the fluff i'm going to change his strength to strength four so it only doubles to 8 and ditch the +1 strength from the fist

He is now going to be W3 and an eternal Warrior

And he's ment to be a tiny bit Overpowered hes a Chapter Master

Get rid of orbital bombardment and eternal warrior imho.

Orbital bombardment makes no sense on a combat character with a jump pack as you have to stand still to use it.

Eternal warrior is just bandied around too much. It should be rare and very few space marine captains actually have it.

Normally I am against Eternal Warrior, but given the fact this guy is a Chapter Master I support it here.

I can't see much left in the way of criticism here.

My only question is, does the feel no pain rule affect the Chapter Master, or only squads within 12"?

I would recommend 6" btw. Remember that a 12" radius is a 24" diameter. One of those Games Workshop terrain squares is 24". I think granting FNP to every unit in, potentially, that large an area is a bit overpowered.

He gets orbital bombardment because he is a CM, not because he is a character. Give him orby back, he may never use it but he has the right to it.

Chapter Masters get Orbital Bombardment.

Chapter Masters do not automatically get eternal warrior...and your character should not as there's really no reason other than you wanting to throw him into CC without having to worry about anything.

Chapter Masters do not get to be overpowered because they're chapter masters.

The LAST thing a custom character should be is overpowered, and the second last thing it should have is eternal warrior. I'd remove EW, and you can bump the wounds back to 4, as that's what CM have.

Other than that he's fine.

Aside from Blacksails' assessment (which I agree with), I'd advise dropping the range of his FNP-granting ability to 6" for the sake of balance; it seems a bit much as it stands.
