Hi Im a Tau player and I am wondering about a rule.
I have given my commander stimulant injector special rule that gives him a feel no pain rule but I have a pair of shield drones as well and they have the close protection rule that gives them the same armour saves as the commander does this give them feel no pain?

I collect Tau. Got a problem with that?

Feel No Pain is not an armour save, so no, they do not benefit.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Although it's weird that a mechanical drone would feel more pain than their organic commander.

Just sayin'.

The tau are very cruel to their drones, I fear it will not belong before the AI revolt.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!

Not a Tau player so sorry if this sounds stupid, but isn't Feel No Pain one of the USR's that does get passed on to the rest of the unit?
Or is there something specific that makes it for one model only?

It only gets passed on if the rule providing it says so, see painboyz and apothecaries for that. Stealth confers though.

Stealth does not pass on. Only the effects.

Of course, the model providing stealth to the unit only passes the rule on so long as he's alive and attached.

Ah yes, you're right sorry. It's one of the rules an IC doesn't loose when joining a unit. They don't pass it on.
