Hey guys, i just got myself into a doubles tourney on my LGS, i'm going with a friend's OK, still not sure what it's on his list. Normal restriction applies to each players 1500 army, so pretty much i just need my own1500 army list and i'm good to go, the list may change on the run of the tournament so i came with these 2 options which do you guys think is better, why and maybe againt which type of armies should i use one or the other. So... option 1 (which is usually my 1500 list every time i play and has seen more victories than losses):

I know it's a pretty elite force but it has proven to strike fear seeing the halberds warriors coming at anything on a 1500 game.

I like list 1.
I would how evernot give the lvl 4 third eye since that wastes his awesome spells.
Give the bsb a magic weapon even a cheap one will do (ethereals).
Other than that ya looks good.

I agree with the above poster. Something like biting blade for 5 pts is amazing for exalteds who are already S5. Also, you might want to consider giving your lord the talisman of preservation so its easier for him to shrug off a cannon ball instead of eating one.

Yah, maybe i should get something else for the third eye points, i was just thinking that it might come into hand to have a buff/hex spell whenever i run out of targets or just to help the warriors last longer. I'll see what i can come up with.

Regarding the BSB, i was avoiding the magic weapon so that he could parry and get pretty much a 5+ ward on close combat, however i'm not sure it it'll be that critical since the few times he had died is due to the unit running and the standards dying as a result.

I like the first list. I made a similar list with 15 and 15 warriors and a squad of marauder horsemen for flavor.

Give the lord roar instead of third eye and you are fine.
That way you have flickering fire as well as roar and things will die.

I like the power familiar and Talisman of Preservation. If you have the points maybe drop the disc and shield?
