Now, I'm not saying anyone else is going to get it, other than me ( ), but what would you buy with the Prize money?

Now, I'm not knowledgable in currency exchange rates, but I do know that that much money plus no shipping is a good bit of change. I would probably buy either a Cutter, a Jotum, or an Armored Cavalry, and the book I'm missing. Probably purchase some 20 Siders if Infinity sells them.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Haha, cool thread, dude! I assume we are talking the 1st place prize? Well there is no way in hell i can win but if i did:

I'd have to get the rest of my Nomads for sure. If there was any left over i'd get a few Caledonians to paint up or a Cutter.

Yup, first place.

And don't worry, if it were between you and me, only you and me, you would be the sure fire winner

You know which one you should pick...

You don't want to be on the receiving end of a Jotum Backhand, do you?!?

Probably some more Hassassins, the new Hafza and some remotes. Possibly a few things from other factions just to do up for display.

But I've told myself not to think it through too much, because I'm not that great a painter. I've got the dexterity and a decent understanding of shade/colour, but I tend to start getting lazy after only a few hours working on the same model (funny, as I can, will and do spend 30+ hours on sculpting the things). Mind you, I managed to win a competition recently, so who knows?

Probably either buy more Haq, or start something with Nomads, something that had lots of Reverend Custodiers, Drones, and Sin Eaters.

Although I would like to expand my Haq to be able to fill either sectorial. Right now, I'm building my army around Saladin, which means no sectorials, but the ability to pick and choose what I want to do would be quite nice.

To be honest, I really didn't even realize there was a monetary reward. My first thought was that I'd obviously buy more Infinity miniatures. Then I read the actual rules and the money goes towards Infinity miniatures anyways.

So everything is going according to plan based on the restrictions.

As for what I'd do with any sort of prize money, I'd get things I'd love to paint. I've always wanted an Anathematic even though I don't play Combined Army. Perhaps with anything leftover, I'd get Probots to get ready for the upcoming Missions book. Never really liked the awkward asymmetrical tricycle-look of the Probots too much.
I'd also obviously save up the moneys; next few months are supposed to be really good for Haqqislam and Aleph players.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

There are a few models in each faction that I think would be awesome to have - so probably I would get those

Or maybe save it for the new book (that I believe is coming?).

If I had to spend it straight away...

Tank hunter - 7.75
Scout - 7.75
Para - 7.75
Zouaves - 8.75
Moblot (Ok, ok, so I have something for heavy machine guns, big deal! ) - 8.75
Tomcat - 7.75
cassandra - 8.75
Nisses - 7.75
Al-Hawwa - 7.75
Djanbazan - 7.75

making 80 euros...

So the remaining 20 would probably go on a starter set... probably this one: merovingian rapid response force/ - 33.25 (meaning I could drop the HMG para above and then pay out the 5.75 difference between the 100 euro prize and the 105.75 cost of the models above ).

Not that I am going to win, but hey...
