Here are all of my painted IG models. I have been collecting them for a few months, and have a few more models to finish (aka 15+ heavy weapons teams). Anyways, here are the models

To start here is my Primaris Psyker with 6 sanctioned Psykers and an Inquisitor as the overseer. For those of you who dont know, they do not have an actual over seer model. Most people use an astropath, but I like what I did here.




Next up is a custom model I did, as a stand in for my Guardsman Marbo. This is Archer, from the FX show "Archer." He is a ton of fun to play, especially when he is about to throw his det pack. Nothing gets the store more confusing then a man in the back yelling "you're termies are in the DANGER ZONE!!"


Next is the best part of the Imperial Guard. The sheer number of men. This is a general shot of the majority of my models


Green squad and blue squad are the squad that has the assault weapons in them. Also, next to them are my objective markers. They are beer kegs, because I feel a guardsman will fight all the harder if there is a (semi) cold drink in it for him in the end.




Up next are my favorite models, the Valkyries and Vendetta.


The one in the front I converted myself into a Vendetta, and the lascannons are magnetized to be removed.


The bases I did to try and break up the monotony of blank bases.




And finally in the end, here is the armor. NOTE: I only painted the manticore, so it'll be the one I will upload pictures of. I bought the others from a friend. If you guys want pictures of them let me know.

The fact you have Archer in your army is priceless. I am surprised you couldn't find a tiny pistol or a flask for him.

I have plans to greenstuff a liquor bottle into his hands. I just need to learn how to sculpt! lol

Your scheme looks very similar to my guard, just without grey fatigues and the red on the other shoulder! The faces could really do with a wash to give them a little definition.

Tanks look great. A wash would pick up the infantry a bit more ! Good work though

The paintjob looks pretty basic, but for a high model count army as IG it's understandable and I'll bet they look good enough on the table.

It is indeed a very basic painting. After all, there are so many models involved. Not to mention school, work, and my love of being lazy I would say they look alright on the table top. I will be sure to take a picture next time I am at my FLGS

They are simply painted, but nice. Keep trying to improve your skills. Good luck!

Does anyone know what a good paint color is for Whiskey or something? When I can, ill be modeling that liquor bottle into his hands. I just need an idea of the color.
