Hey guys and gals

I have a problem.... my static grass falls off my bases. No matter how I glue it on (different amounts of glue, press it on, don't press it on....) most of it'll fall off again at the slightest suggestion of a gentle breeze. Does this happen to anyone else?
FYI: Years before I got into wargaming I visited a GW-store and painted an Ork. He also has grass on his base, but it sticks really well.
I'm using common white glue and GWs dead grass.

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

I use Tacky glue (available at any crafts store) for my flock/grass.

I just put a blob of it where I want the grass to be. Submerge the base in the grass shake off the excess and it works perfectly.

Yeah Tacky/Sticky glue does the trick.

PVA (white) glue will peel off bases after a bit of use so i'm not a fan.

Since you appear to be in Germany I would recommend Noch products and Deluxe Materials Scatter Grip. They are meant to be for Train sets and that's pretty much the top end when it comes to hobby products IMO.

I apply scatter grip where I want it and use a Noch Flock Applicator (Gras-Spritzdose, leer?), which is a bottle that sort of blows the grass at the glue helping it to stand up.

+1 to this. I got my static grass applicator in a terrain starter kit from Noch (trees, flock, ballast, grass, glue and the applicator). It's also available separately.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Tacky Glue is a thick variant of PVA that's available from craft stores. It is sold under a bunch of different names, but is almost always seems to come in a round bottle and is quite a bit cheaper than Elmers or other PVA's. If it's too thick, it can be watered down just like other white glues.

I've used it for years.
