I ask because I want to add some flavor to my IG army, but most of it is made out of stock cadians and I don't want some of my IG to look out of place. Are Pig Iron production heads (Kolony Rebel, or any of the Kolony for that matter) the same size as GW heads?

Yes.
They are designed to fit their own but also coincidentally fit onto cadians.

I got them once for my SM scouts, and they ended up looking to small. But scouts are a bit bulkier than IG, so they might look fine on them.

The PI heads are a bit smaller than GW heads. The heavy infantry heads in particular. This means that they actually look to be about the right scale with GW models, compared to the giant heads that GW produces. It just means that if you mix and match GW and PI heads you might notice a slight difference between them, however as soon as you get paint on thre it shouldn't be that noticeable.

Personally I love the PI heads. Always excellent quality and really nice sci-fi look. I think any of the PI range should fit Guard ok. For Marines and Scouts I would recommend the slightly larger System Trooper range.

Alright, thanks for the input. Now I have to deiced if I want to wait for those new Kolony Rebel heads or just get some of the Kolony milita gasmask dudes.
