Hey guys, I'm trying to find the names for these old GW boxsets so I can look them up on ebay. I'm trying to get ahold of two miniatures from the Wizard box specifically, I know they exist and saw them in my favorite store 2 years ago, but I haven't seen them since and can't figure out the name to look them up on ebay. Help or offers for models 'c' and 'i' would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried "adventure box," "Games Workshop Box, Set, Boxset," and a bunch of other combinations to no avail. Help if you can, thanks guys.

Most of them can be found in the main Warhammer Quest box. (but none from the wizards pack unfortunately)
Maybe a research using warhammer quest will help
Good luck !

They aren't so easy to find for sale, especially the wizards. Expect a high price tag...

Bummer. Had I known two years ago that I'd want that boxset, I'd have picked it up then. I couldn't find a single one of the boxes on ebay, even under warhammer quest. I guess I'll ask the store owner tomorrow if he threw them into storage by some stroke of luck-I hadn't seen them move in a few years of going there, then one day they were all gone-either eBay or storage I guess. Alright, thanks for the help guys.

Have a look here:
http://www.solegends.com/citadel/index.htm
I'm not sure if they have the info, but it's worth a shot.
I remember these sets. IIRC, they came out in the late 90's. possibly around the same time they released box sets of the necromunda plastic gangs. I remember 3 boxed sets of the orks, gretchin and marine plastics from 2nd ed 40k, but that may have been a bit earlier.

More like mid 90's. I think a bunch of them came free on White Dwarf.
I have the "i" model, terrible paint job and all, it is missing the sword arm from the elbow though.
Will try to put a photo up later but it's free if you want it.

Now there's some nostalgic plastic! I loved the hell out of Talisman back in the day (even with the epic 6hr plods).
You might be lucky and pick up a few if you look for less precise e-bay listings. Items like these sometimes show up as part of a larger lot of junk being cleared out by people who don't know what they have. Just check for wizards every now and then rather than the pricier Talisman listings and you sometimes stumble across hidden gems.

I had that box of wizards. They sat in my mini cases for ages untouched. I'm pretty sure somewhere I still have "b" "c" "i"
I was saving them for Mordheim and/or my WOC army.

I Had the Sorceress on White Dwarf, sold her with the rest of my Second Dark Elf army.
I was also at Games Day where they where selling those off at a couple of quid each, 1999 I think Not 100%
I didn't think much of them at the time, wasn't until I got home and saw a friends who did pick some up, that I wished I'd grabbed the wizards box.

Bragging doesn't make friends with people trying desperately to get two models out of it Actually, there was a nice chap in the thread who offered me one of the models I need-now I just need to get my hands on the Chaos Sorc from it. I have all the other guys.

Also go directly to the UK ebay website as they often have stuff like that that doesn't show up when you do a search from the US ebay site.
If the seller doesn't list as shipping to the US just send them a polite email and I have found they are almost always willing to ship overseas.

Nice blast from the past. I might still have the chaos wizard hanging around here somewhere.
I loved that game, glad to see others here remember it. I brought it up at my FLGS and just got looks of confusion. No one had ever heard of it.
