Hey,
I would like to show you and easy way of savin time and money with Land Speeder Storm. Scouts provided in that box will be able to get on and off their transport. For more details visit our blog .

It looks really cool when those guys can disembark for real

That's really cool. Nicely done but I think you need to redo the base for number 5. It would be really funny if you made his base a toilet seat

ITs a cool idea, but I think it doesnt really work on a few of them. Having a scout just sitting on some boxes in the field looks weird for example. Maybe, put the magnets in their torsos instead, and then use normal scout legs on bases to magnetize them together? Then it would still be the same scouts, just with normal walking legs.

Good idea and well executed but i think that Kingcrackers idea is an even better one.
I wouldnt really have any problems with some scout sitting down but it does look a bit odd when he is suppose sneaking about

I love the idea. However, having them sit in their disembarked mode seems a little boring. They should be standing after all.

But the concept and execution of the magnetization are well done.

If I give you a cookie, will you go away? If I give you the bag, will you go far, far away?

I think they look great. Having scouts sitting around is actually more suiting in reality. In most games, the most they do is kill one guy.

I like this.
I used the crew of the speeder for my scout squad as well. Although I chopped them up, and they can't be used as a crew anymore. Which doesn't matter since my landspeeder storm is a regular landspeeder now. ^^

Anyway.. the thing is. What seems to be really cool is that they can actually disembark from the vehicle... literally. ^^
And he is saving a good amount of money. Which is always a good thing.

I like this idea, but I'm with KingCracker, would be better if you put the magnet in the torso and had a set of legs for them when they disembark. When I get my Land Speeder Storm, I'll use your idea.

A good concept, but as stated previously, the execution on a few of them is poor.

Thanks for feedback! It is true that they may seem a bit unnatural and wieard but the idea was to make them disembark and save some money. We will try to do it better next time

We are buying them from Polish store - http://magnesy.eu/ - the language will probably be a problem

When I was living in UK I used that store - http://e-magnetsuk.com/. Don't know if they are still good now

I did the same thing, except for the following conversions:

Instead of using the transparent stick and base, I used a metal rod to both sides, then raped some wire around it and painted it like rope.

The Power Fist Sgt is magnetized to that rope and the MG Gunner stays in the Speeder.

No Bolters, my Storm Scouts are 100% CC, so the door guns are magnetized shotgun to Bolt pistils.

The bases are made from sprue, cork, and bits to resemble urban rubble, as cover. (it makes them less sitting, more hiding in cover.

I do like the toilet idea, I have seen busted toilets in dumps. It might make sense but it would be funny. My scout list has two speeders so maybe set two will have the toilet.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
In set 2 I will also try this side mounted MM and HB. The SG would look good there with a PS or PF so he will get a magnified arm like the shotgun guys.

I like what you've done! (I would point out that a BP + PF is a bit of a crazy combo, I would go with Shotgun and PF as it is an assault weapon and you get 2 shots, you don't get the +1 A but then you don't get one anyway when toting a PF, Bolters on Scouts is a bit poor too, but they can pour out the fire at 12" )

Otherwise I think this is looking good. I did a magnetising Article ages ago and others have added to it. I would love it if you added in your 2 pennies worth into too!

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

That is a great Idea .

The only poorly painted miniature is the one that is not painted.
