Hey there guys! I'm currently running out of HB sprues and i need to make just a few more. Are there any options or sprues that SM uses that can be converted to a HB for a single SM use?
Currently the things i have that may be able to be converted:
1 x scouts HB
2 x razorback TL HB sprues
...and a whole boat load of bitz and pieces from SW box

Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated..thanks!

Landspeeder kits have HBs.

I have some spare ones...

Yeah, talk to anyone who plays with a lot of bikes or landspeeders (bonus points for DA). They generally have a ton of extra HB.

Also, SOB players will, but may be loathe to part with them.

Just buy your devasator squads metal from the GW website >.> ts what I do and convert the HB bolters into sonic cannnons for noise marines. I also suggest that you two plane bolters and take the outstretched hands and place them in the hands so they are holding two of them and count as a HB. When I do ork shoota boys I get around using the shoots by getting the left and right hand slugga pistols and put them on one guy and say its a shoota. It works :p
Also some clubs will not allow converted HB's so be prepared to find a strict club.
Oh and make a die cast mold of a HB so you have more. I do this sort of thing with scarabs. (13 scarab swarms and growing)

I think he's looking for a bit cheaper option.

Two bolters do not make a heavy bolter.

What club doesn't allow HBs from other kits to be used as conversions?

Have you considered bits sites? If you're looking for one piece in particular, it tends to be a better option than buying another sprue and converting. bitzbox is what I tend to use.
