I am unshure on what works well in this for tomb kings. Probably because I am unshure of the rules.

1: If I do not manadge to throw my opponent out of the building, will I be pushed 1 back? So in theory it can be -REALLY- hard to get inside considering I only can attack with 10 and he is unbreakable?

2: I know I do not count bonuses from banners and ranks etc. But would I count the bonus from the magical banner that gives +1 to combat resolution?

Combat res is wounds only.

If you do not win combat and make them flee, or kill them all, you are pushed back 1"

Flaming attacks lets you re-roll to wound in buildings.
Yes, it is tough to force tomb kings out of buildings.
If you know buildings are going to show up, try and bring some beat sticks.
I like 15 savags with extra hand weapons.
On the table they toss out 15 attacks.
In a building, 10 of them throw out 30 attacks.

Couple that with a few warmachines, and anything you can't beat down in melee, you should be able to clear out with pounding the building.

Buildings seem to work best if you limit units to 20 or 30 models tops. Dumping 5 wizards and 90 goblins in a tower isn't fun for anyone.

Matt, I am the tomb kings player. He is the ork. :-)

I have some more rule questions:

Can stomp work against units in buildings? I cannot find that it does not.

Can mounts attack buildings? I know they could not in 7th, but I cannot find it anywahere that they can not do it now.

If I am a tomb king, does the blood in the badland books mean that if I loose a combat while I hold a breached building during the sige rules, my units will be pushed out, I will loose to unstabel or both?

If the champion is killed while attacking a building, does another person "step up"`?

Edit: Also, on the throwing of rocks, it is still limited to the high of the building and 5 rocks per floor right?

Stomp works against buildings, but can only kill at most the 10 models that were in the fight.

And it depends on the mount. Cavelry(and MC) leave their mounts before assaulting on foot. They gain none of the benifits their mount gives(Spider Riders are an exception as they are specifically allowed to come and fight)

Monsters, and Ridden Monsters IIRC, fight as normal(being 5 models)

only 10 dudes can fight in the assault, if any die before they fight they are not replaced.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

NO. If you read the second paragraph under allocating attacks on page 128, you will notice that it states the exact opposite. You will always have 10 models to attack unless other things prevent it (eg.being a monster, less than 10 to start, ect)

Cool thanks. What about TK loosing a fight in a breached section of the castle? Does the sige rule overide the crumbel rule or what not?

PS: On what page does it say that people on mounts dismount when they attack buildings. I can not find it anywhere.
