The Hawk game is called Dropzone Commander; the DzC models start at number 18 in the slideshow. The models were really really nice and will all be resin. I especially liked the buildings and the fact that one of the ships looks like a Mass Effect Reaper

The infantry are white metal apparently.

And the buildings are tile based so you can make unique structures depending on how many tiles you get.

And it sounds like the buildings are important as infantry have to capture them etc.

Oh and all the mechs and tanks transported by the drop ships attach without magnets or anything like that.

I'm all ready to pre-order some of the Shaltari tribes miniatures there.

Yeah these look very good, would be great to see how the game plays though.

I like the aesthetic they have going on a lot of the different ships.

I was just amazed about the design and the overall quality and quantity... 4 full factions with lots of options superbly casted detailed and painted... wow

I saw them at Salute too and the miniatures were really nice, not really reinventing the wheel in terms of style but high quality nonetheless.

That really took my eye though was their modular building system, absolutely stunning. The chap running the stand showed me some photos for the rulebook and the cityscape using the buildings was pretty amazing.

The buildings are made up of various tiles about 1" square and you hold it up accordingly. Pretty smart and I would have thought durable once mounted on plasticard or sum such. No confirmation on price but they were trying to keep it under £1 per tile. I would hope its well below this because other wise you could be looking at £30-40 per building which seems high for 10mm scale.

Still I'll be keeping an eye on these guys.

Saw tHis at salute aswell, absolutely gorgeous models and great people. Shame there were no minis available to buy as would have spaffed a big wad (of cash) there and then.

The Firstborn(?) Jaguar and Cougar warstriders are amazing. Fantastic looking miniatures. Would be nice to get a little hint as to the rules/how the game plays.

Some pics, posted in this thread, for the lazy amongst us? Might get more interest.

I'm liking what I'm seeing, but also finding it hard to get a feel for the scale... it's 10mm, but then you have these absolutely gigantic dropships which look bigger than a GW valkyrie.

Oh, and about that army builder question that you got... the answer is "use battlescribe"... no need to program your own software like the questioner comparing it to infinity's application suggests. One afternoon's work, job done.
