Hi all. My main army is Sisters of Battle which are still a work in progress as I wait on plastics. However I have looked into other armies and decided to go with a feral team as my sisters are painted with tiger stripes and enjoy that sorta feel with my armies.
Now I am wondering lore/fluff wise since the Space Wolves defeated the Sisters in a war. How weird would it be for Wolves to have captured some Sisters and then the female descendents of these Sisters become an amazonian Space Wolf force?

If you like the idea. I would appreciate ideas for a list.
Right now thinking wolf lord on wolf mount, hunters with melta/flamer in pods, fenrisian wolves (since feral themed)

If this is in the wrong section I am sorry. Wasn't sure.

You will take a lot of flak for this. It violates the fluff in many, many ways.

I say screw 'em and do what you want to do.

I'd just default to the Rule of Cool.

If it looks cool (and to me, it sounds like what it is) that'll override any flak you might catch for it, unless you try to get super fiddly with lore.

I'd just say "yeah, I wanted to mix these two" and go with it.

1.) Loyal SM fought against loyal Sororitas?
2.) Space Wolves, the good guys, take loyal Imperial citizens as slaves?
3.) Space marines have children?
4.) Female Space Marines??

Keep in mind that everyone familiar with official background will have his WTF moment when faced with your army.
If you still want to go that route, look for Warzone Imperial miniatures for some female barbarian power armour models.

1.) Oh yeah. Remember, SW hate the damn Emperor-botherers. The Ecclesiarchy tried to move on Fenris in force once, before they were blown out of orbit.

Other than that, you're on the money.

My suggestion to still be cool and not raise WTF eyebrows and still be canon-esque is keep the cool tiger striped Amazonian Soritas (that sounds pretty sweet, I want photos) but maybe have them as some Sororitas that got cut off on some feral world or something so they're all feral.

I'd just say that they were a tribal force from a death world similar to Fenris that had large tigers lurking around instead of large "wolves".

They ally with the SW occasionally and fight as one.

KISS is as good a rule as the Rule of Cool (and I think both apply).

Space Wolves 5th p. 19. Ya know, the paragraph before they have a big bro feast with Autarch Elenduil and his Eldar in their big hall. Space Wolves attack Ecclesiarchy officials without warning, killing them all, and fight against later attempts of Ecclessiarchy and Adepta to investigate the matter.

What he says. But I doubt anything about female Space Wolves can be ,,cool", in fact it sounds pretty cheap and weird for any 40k ear.

Best of luck with your female Space Marines. They're your models. Do what you want with them. Prepare to take a lot of flack for it, though.

A lot of your backstory goes against existing fluff, but if you want to work on a modeling project and convert an all female force of space wolves, by all means go for it. They are your minis after all and if that is an army you want to play then make it happen. Some people will berate you for being against the fluff, or just berate you for having the audacity to be different and put together your own force like this. Of course that all falls under the heading of "So what?" They aren't their minis. As long as your units are identifiable on the table (heck female "marines" on thunderwolves are just as obviously thunderwolf cavalry as male "marines" on thunderwolves) it shouldn't matter. Would love to see some pics from this conversion project.

Pretty much. It's impossible in the fluff, but who should tell anyone what to do with their little toy soldiers?

You could possibly tie this in by claiming they are the Wolf Brothers, who actually were Wolf Sisters, hence why that didn't work out so well.

The funny thing is that 40k has no objection to women becoming daemon princes or even Chaos Space Marines but loyalists are considered a no no. In fact if you said, I want to do an army of corrupted Soriatus who've been infused with the power of Khorne so have the stats of chaos marines you would get a lot less flak for this than Space Wolves.

Quite.
