Having not played lizardmen in some years I figured I'd take a whack at designing a list for them.

Very solid.
All I would change is giving the scar vet a cheap magic weapon (warrior bane/biting blade) and swap 1 unit of terradons for chameleons. Left over points add the extra handlers for the salamanders.

Unless they're mounted, Scar-Vets don't really add that much. When they are mounted, they are insanely good.

If you want to run a combat list, you'll probably find Light better. Also, try swapping out one of the Saurus units for a unit of Skink Krox.
