Subject: Can a warband be fluffy and effective?

Generaly it seems Inquisitor Warbands in a GK list should be geared towards suicide assault, or gunny-acolytes. But it it possible to have a mixed or fluffy warband in the newer edition? So far iv come up with this:
Banisher with Eviscerator
Arco-Flagellent
x2 Crusader
x3 Acolytes with meltaguns
x3DCA
Mystic
comes to 172 points. Bit pricey for fluff, but hell itl be fun to model. However, theres fun to model and use, then theres fun to model and never see the battlefield. So just wondered peoples opinions here. FYI my inquisitor has a plasma pistol and daemonblade already, so yeah fun and fluffy. just wondering if people can recommend slight changes or if this will fail miserably (though i know myself fluffy fun armies are often fearsome, guy at my FLGS won a tournie few weeks ago with just ultramarine models he liked the look of, calgar, jumpchaplain etc.)

Mostly a mixed bag of a warband, the baseline aocolyte for instance simply to model him like a pirate joining the assault with say DCA. Obviously vastly inferior to the DCA in CC, but still fun to field i guess.

Fluffy doesn't really exist for an Inquisitor warband...
Fluffy could mean anything since Inquisitors are varied and so their warbands will be varied as well.

Yes a fluffy inquisition warband can be effective.
By fluff, I assume the OP means no inquisitor has only death cult assassins.

My buddy was crushing fools with his Warbands when I left Little Rock. He would put a Techmarine with all the grenades in with 3 Storm Shield Crusaders and like 6 Death Cult Assassins. I6 S4 Power Weapon Attacks and 3+ invul saves makes a mean unit. Then he had another Techmarine with 2 Jaekeros and 3 Acolytes with Flamers. Lot o' templates to lay down, plus 3(?) Conversion Beamers and other assorted shooty bits. Very nasty units indeed.
