Hey guys, as my armies expand and my collections grow I find myself having trouble transporting them effectively as the ways I currently do it, it requires that I bring like 5 boxes or I don't package them right and they get broken. I currently play 40k (DE so its a pain in the butt to transport them in anything) Warmachine (PoM a large collection with Mercs as well) and Fantasy (started back up with HE). So I'm in the market for these luxury bags but I don't know what would be the best value. I currently own a army transport for my warmachine but it can't hold all of the models that I want and some models are to "awkward" to fit in it, its a great bag and I will probably still be using it for local events but I want to be able to take them to a larger or out of town events.
I've looked at sabols motorpool but I don't know if it would work for what I'm wanting to use it for, mainly for fantasy and WM. Battlefoam is currently sold out on WM bags but not hordes so could I get away with buying one of the hordes bags to transport a WM army (not using the customs but the pluck foam) and could I switch out trays for others such as trays for battle engines or custom trays? Thanks for the info!

If you look a few threads down the page, I just kinda struggled with this stuff myself.
I wound up just getting the sabol pluck foam trays that i wanted and will go out and get a big plastic bin to put them in.

One thing you can do for half the price, is get some suit cases, and get some foam cut the suitcase from www.caseclub.com Battlefoam is great, but over priced for what it is.

I own one PACK 720, and I have about 18 foam trays. Enough to fill the one bag about 2.5 times. I store all my 40k models in foam and all my Warmahordes as well. I simply just grab the right stack of trays and load it up when I head out t door.
I find the PACK products to be great, the custom foam is wonderful and I feel the price is pretty good, if not a little high, but justifiable. My beef with Battlefoam is there turnaround time, it is painfully slow. I can understand things taking a while on the custom stuff, but I ordered some pluck foam from them and it took forever!

I own both Army Transport , gw, Battlefoam.
My only Battlefoam army is my 40k Orks, where I have a whole lot of models. My army per model, is often double, some times triple of my opponents. I went with Battlefoam as I really wanted to have it all in 1 case. Right now I have about 2000 pts in 1 case. I have a balanced army, so I have a fair amount of vehicles. I cringed initially at the cost, but honestly it was worth it.
Army transport is really good for "certain" armies. I use it for my Skaven: motorpool, where i can fit about 2250 of models. However my units are on magnetized movement trays, so its more of a pick up / drop deployment. My dwarves are in the "standard" Army Transport. I fit 2250 in there easily.
I think for Warmchine / hordes, the best case available is actually the former GW Tool case. It was a small case, but had 3 big slots, which each holds 2 large based models. You can fit infantry easily in the top tray, and can even customize a little for medium bases. I swear by it, but also don't know if its still available. It hold 50 points of Searforge very very easily.
Out of all of them? I would go battlefoam if you can afford it and your thinking long term. The case opens easier with the zip top / front, and fold down. Its seems like its a sturdier bag. The trays are pretty strong it seems. The pockets are helpful. I actually put my big rule book on the bottom of the case. That way I literally have everything in 1 case, armies, rule book, templates, codex. Army Transport is good, but the big rule book never quite fit well. I had the small rule books.. but they got swiped at tourneys.

I would go for something from KR Multicase. Their stuff is significantly cheaper than Battlefoam and a bit better than Sabol. Sabol is still good stuff though, and I'd recommend it as well. There is some controversy over Battlefoam's sales tactics and business practices to consider if that matters to you as well.

is PACK a differnt company and who sells KR multicase? But yea I'm looking for stuff that can hold a growing army, and odd figured ones. For WM I have a vessel of judgment and the harbinger models which one is huge and the other is very fragile. I'd like to get one for my DE but I don't think I could justify the cost because I have so many raiders and venoms I think I'd have to do my own case for them.

I just got a Kiaser2 from KR. Love it. I have 3 growing armies and the KR system of boxes with foam inside a bag allows me to grab the army boxes I need and throw them into the bag. Awesome for multiple build armies or just multiple armies!
Plus side was shipping is included in the cost too. They also support different events I want to go to. They donated 6 cases to the Bugeater GT in Omaha, NE!
Love the idea I can buy a empty alluminum case and add my exhisting boxes to it! The backpack also looks boss.

PACK should be referring to the type of bag from Battlefoam
