Hi folks, I am wanting to sell my old Dark Eldar army to pay for some more Tau or get some Grey Knights but when it comes to guessing how much to sell it for, well I have no idea. I want to give a fair price to people but I don't want to appear greedy by over valuing them or at the same time sell them for way too little. So any help what so ever would be much appreciated.

I don't think you can expect to make very much from this lot. Old DE figures are not very popular, they don't fit in with the gorgeous new models very well and they are not exactly beautiful sculpts. Some of your figures are also painted to a not very high standard, which generally lowers the price.

If you sell it as one big lot, you are likely looking at taking another hit to the price as anyone buying will end up with models they do not need and do not want to pay for.

One last blow is that you have few "competitive" models in here, so anyone buying it are likely to have to fill in with a lot of other purchases.

I am not able to make any good guesses for price, my best tip would be to look at ebay. A quick search showed me a similar sized army with with starting bid 250/buy it now 550:

I don't think he will get anywhere near his buy-it-now price, but maybe someone will buy it for 250?

I'm not looking to make a big amount in all honesty, I expected since the paint job is not the best (not me it done it, not that I can do better) I just want that little extra to help with buying models. Thanks for taking the time to reply you evaluated higher than what I was originally thinking as well lol.

I would break it up. I dont think anyone is going to buy that lot to pick out the things they want.

The incubi will sell if the paint job isnt too bad or can be stripped

The jet bikes might sell as they are unpainted and some people like them more than the new ones.

I would imagine the hellions would sell, as they are unpainted but again the new models are much better and hellions are not very good.

The old mandrakes wont fetch anything

The old grotesques are the size of new Wracks, they might fetch something.

The haemoculuses might fetch something if sold alone.

The new wyches and lelith should definitely fetch something and be sold separately.

Talos suck in this edition and the new model is so much cooler, dont expect to get their weight in $$.

Do you have any warriors with Blasters? That is about the only thing that will sell as far as warriors. Dark lances, splinter rifles, and splinter cannons have no use in the modern codex and the new models are sooo much better.

The scourges should sell if they are alone

The raider will definitly sell if left alone

Hope someone buys the warriros, but expect a deep discount.

Broken up you should get a little over $100 for it, but you might get lucky. $150 might happen.

I suggest visiting Feebay and searching for your items under "Completed Auctions." It will give you an idea of what similar models are actually selling (and NOT selling) for.
