I've been thinking long and hard about what to use for the good guys and as cool as a gleaming unit of minas tirith is it would, lets say, dull. Well for me at least anyway. And then there's the call of the Rohirrim which I can't help but answer (and the fact I got 9 or 10 riders who need a little work on the horses but are otherwise brand new) for £3. So I have gone and made a combined list.

Warband 1:
King of men w/ heavy armour + shield
4 GotFC w/ shield
2 WoMT w/ shield
5 WoMT w/ shield
WoMT w/ Banner

212pts

Warband 2:
Eomer w/ horse + bow + throwing spears
6 Riders of Rohan w/ throwing spears

185pts

Warband 3:
Eowyn w/ throwing spears
4 Warriors of Rohan w/ throwing spears and shield
4 Warriors of Rohan w/ shield

99pts

Total 496pts, Count 29, BP 15, Bows 21% (6)

So a pretty odd list but I get to incorporate all the best bits from both factions, GotFC and Riders and of Rohan plus good characters in the form of Eomer and Eowyn. I have a solid base in my minas tirith warband that act as my anvil while keeping the mobiliy (riders) and numbers (WoR) up too.

But no Boromir

So what do y'all think?

Looks alrigth, good choice on the trowing spears. Also I salute you for using Eowyn, she is wonderful alongside Eomer

Your not wrong, for her points she is THE best value hero ever imo. A fight of 5 and two M/W/F means she isn't as fragile as she looks and can kick some serious butt! Also I have the nice helms deep mini with the dress, definitely one of my favourites *returns salute*

Most of them on ebay new/stripped were going for about £6+, I got mine for £3 A bargain me thinks I'll try and get her painted up asap so you can feast your eyes on her Trond

I love Eowyn, she is indeed mega hot *drool* I do agree with the meat on the bones always nice to hold something (not to much though). Your list looks pretty good, I was very curious about Eowyn and wanted to get her myself so I am looking forward to see her and to see her in action!

Yeh, gotta have a lady with curves nomnomnom.

She's sweet, for her price she is a bargain, sure her str and def aren't great but she is a one-on-one troop killer who should be thrown at the average trooper to whittle down numbers a little, she could earn her points back with her eyes closed.

Aww man I have not played LotR for a long time I got a whole Minas Tirath force packed some were. Have not played since the first year it came out, a few yrs ago I think its collecting dust. Eowyn is very hot, not to mention a tough char as in the movie she sparred a bit with Aragon and impressed him. Her kind was taught to use a sword ever since she could walk. A dream woman unless you upset here......

Haha, well usually they do but my lady has fire and I like it, she stands for something and fire can also mean passion too I deal with fire cos after my last relationship (and she does the same too after her last) I don't take lol we always end up laughing anyways
