So after using the search function and reading BRB I couldnt find the answer. I know characteristic test is a D6 and if you roll equal or less your ok, but what happens if the target has equipment like a power klaw or fist? It makes they attack at Int 1 (and for the power Klaw attack at str 10) so for an Int test(liek times arrow) is the target Int 1 with a fist or 3/4(like what it says on its stat profile?)

on the other hand Nobz they decided it was in the best interest of ork society that they "Go Green" as such they specifically modified their warbikes to not make giant smoke, dust, grit, clouds. Instead they are all about driving with clean air, one might say their bikes Gak out rainbows.

^^ As he said. Just imagine the initiative profile as a 3(1) or 4(1), similar to how modified toughness is vs. ID.

That's not universal though - for example Whip Coils change your init to 1, which Time's Arrow then makes you take the check on.

The powerfist does not make the model I1. They only swing at I1. There is a difference.

Yes, you're correct, but here is why I said this...wraiths only work when the model is in contact with them, powerfists (and equivalent) are on ALL the time. THEY are effectively a stat modification same as a bike for a marine or halberds for grey knights. So, ya, it's universal because one is a permanent modification to the model and the other is the effect of an ability from the enemy which is temporary.

You use the value on their profile, the unmodified one for any characteristic tests.

Halberd's aren't a stat modification - the wielder strikes at +2 initiative.
Things that actually change your stat line - that's what you use for Time's Arrow.
Things that change when you swing - you use your base I for Time's Arrow. Automatically Appended Next Post: juraigamer wrote:You use the value on their profile, the unmodified one for any characteristic tests.
False. Only Sweeping Advance says that.

Ugh, I only used halberds as an example of something that modifies the initiative stat in any way. But the principle still stands since you would still only roll the base initiative for the halberd wielder, only the equation is different is the various situations. So for the halberd wielders their stat would be 4(+2) where you would only ever modify up or down the base stat of 4 but they always get the +2 when determining close combat strike initiative.
So, really it's still the same as what I said before. Why are you making this so difficult man?

I'm not arguing, I'm clarifying. The way you said what you did made no sense to me. I was trying to help others understand using two simple sentences.
Things that actually change your stat line - that's what you use for Time's Arrow.
Things that change when you swing - you use your base I for Time's Arrow.

Also a Power Klaw and/or Fist doesn't make you hit at S10... it doubles your S. Big difference
