I like this, shooty orks are good fun.... But performence is unpredictible.

I would take the lootas as one 15 man squad and one five because of leadership.

Foot slogging Burnas are extremly hard to make effective and I don't see how they fit the theme as much as the rest.

Your lacking anti-tank, especially as your pks will take a while to get to tanks (no transport). I'd suggest either kans with rokkits (150 point straight swap) or rokkit buggies (bout 150 with a few upgrades I think).... probably kans to provide more cover.

Cheers,

Dave.

I agree on both counts but i wanted to toss in flamers and blasts to add to the shooty theme for flavor and plus the burnas help out against terminators and armored infantry they'd be in a unit with the big mek

1. Tyranids - 15,000 pts
2. Chaos Space Marines - 7,100 pts

I would say to switch the burnas out for more walkers. Foot burnas get targetted pretty darn fast, so become useless.

So I decided to give in to the competitive aspect considering the list a bit lacking in anti tank power against certain armies and by removing the burnas i was able to remake the list into :

1250 Pts - Codex: Orks Roster - Dakka

HQ:
. . 1 Big Mek, 110 pts (Bosspole; Kustom Force Field; Burna)

Elite:
. . 10 Lootas, 150 pts
. . 10 Lootas, 150 pts

. . . . 1 Boyz Nob (Bosspole; Slugga; Power Klaw)

. . 19 Boyz, 180 pts (Shootas; Rokkit Launcha x2)
. . . . 1 Boyz Nob (Bosspole; Slugga; Power Klaw)

. . 19 Boyz, 180 pts (Shootas; Rokkit Launcha x2)
. . . . 1 Boyz Nob (Bosspole; Slugga; Power Klaw)

Heavy Support:
. . 2 Killer Kans, 100 pts (Dreadnought CCW; Rokkit Launcha x2)
. . 2 Killer Kans, 100 pts (Dreadnought CCW; Rokkit Launcha x2)
. . 2 Killer Kans, 100 pts (Dreadnought CCW; Rokkit Launcha x2)

Total Roster Cost: 1250

Which def gives it plenty anti vehicle power from the boys 2 rokkits should be hitting per turn and from the kans 3 rokkits which should hopefully add up to two damaged vehicles each turn. Adding the lootas great AT power should give me 4 damaged enemy vehicles every turn within AV 10 - 12.

1. Tyranids - 15,000 pts
2. Chaos Space Marines - 7,100 pts
3. Space Marines - 6,000 pts
4. Orks - 5,900 pts

That helps a lot. Kan Walls make for great advancing shooty lists.

Good move droppin the burna boyz....they're great but pretty much need to be in a battlewagon to get some use.

In regards to rokkit buggies: 105 points for 3 x warbuggy w/rokkit launcha.

Looks like a clean list. Only one thing to point out:

Your Big Mek's profile has a Bosspole. That isn't necessary since all your Nobs have BPs. I'd exchange for 'Eavy armor or some other 5 pt upgrade?

I really like Kan Wall lists, it's what I'm currently building up. Personally, I don't see the need for the big mek burna, I feel like it's a bit situational. I agree that the BP on him can go, and I personally like the higher count loota squads because they're suddenly more reliable at popping a transport or tearing into a meaty squad. This looks like a great shooty list to me!

UpThe second list looks much better that you came up with. Burnas with no battle wagon is pointless and way to slow.

So far ran 2 more games at 1750 and 2000 pts and basically decimated my opponents.

Kill Points + Dawn of War vs CSM Tzeentch - 2000 pts

End Game Turn 7 - 1 chaos space marine model survived due to falling back and away from combat. Major victory in Kill Points for the Orks. Lost only 4 units and wiped all but that one guy off. The Lootas were red-hot dropping 3 shots each for most of the game. The rhinos all went down turn 2. I had first turn but my opponent seized the initiative which gave him early advantage

Kill Points + Pitched Battle vs Imperial Guard - 1750 pts

End Game Turn 4 - Opponent conceded after Orks were gaining a major win on kill points having lost only 3 units and were facing down the last remnants of the IG force with everything giving high odds for tabling. Opponent seized initiative and took early lead in this game aswell. Thanks to a huge impassible terrain tree int he middle however the deffkoptas were able to scout move behind it and then jump out and damage some IG vehicles turn 1 and bought my army enough time to catch up. Thanks to my massive 24" anti armor fire I was able to basically decapitate every vehicle lol armament destroyed went a long way as I popped the main turret on 2 russes and 3 chimeras on turn 1, with the big daddy S10 AP2 tank he had went unscathe but missed half the time scattering off the kans and hitting ork mobs in 4+cover

Very fun game vs tin'eads at 1500 pts where I tossed in a couple more units, a Big Mek with SAG and another unit of 20 Boyz identical to the others. I went first and shoot up the wraiths on turn 1 killing 2 with the lootas.

Immotek only hit 1 unit with lightning on turn 1 and night fighting ended turn 2 (he IS unlucky vs Orks after all)

The Big Mek with SAG decided to pulverize himself rolling snake eyes. For major LOLz

We were playing all 3 missions I had capture n control held for most of the game and 1 seize ground objective through out the battle I did minimal damage and even after using my waagh and getting in his face turn 3 I didn't manage to do anything except explode an Annihilation Barge. My units were getting wiped out left n right he killed half my army in units alone so he was winning kill points till the very end where in turn 5 I managed to make immotek and company run off the board gaining me 2 kill points, i killed his other AB and killed his Triach Stalker giving me the lead in kill points 6 to 5 for a last minute turn 6 win.

At the end I was winning in KPs by 1, we had a draw on capture n control, and I conga-lined my way to a 2nd seize groudn objective for a win there. Very close game if it had ended turn 5, he would've won on KPs, and we would've had a draw on objectives making it a tin'ead win turn 5. Luckily Gork & Mork decided Orks shalt not lose this day and made turn 6 possible allowing me to claim ultimate victory with little to stand in my way.

Great job, man, and good BR. Despite recent developments with GK, I still maintain that Kan Walls are viable and stronger than a regular Green Tide.
