Ok so I'm making my own vulkan model because 25$ plus a week wait sucks. Anyways, I acquired a dark elf corsair cloak, a GK force halberd, and had the other stuff. Now my question is this. I used a left handed terminator lightning claw for his left arm. I don't have any terminator should pads to sculpt on. So I'm looking for ideas in what I can do to the shoulder so it doesn't look crappy.
Here's some pictures of what I have done so far. Any ideas welcome.

Could cut the fist off the arm just below the elbow, snip off the power cable and then pin it to a regular marine arm/shoulder. Then you can just greenstuff the gap(s) and use a guitar string to redo the power cable. Then a normal marine shoulder pad would fit just fine! I'd then use either one of the more...elaborate shoulder pads or GS some extra detail or ornamentation onto the shoulder and other spaces.
Looking good so far though!

I love that idea. Thankfully I have a whole sprue of lightning claws from my termie box so I'm gonna try that out to see size comparison. I just hope the terminator fist looks right on the marine arm size wise. That's sort of the reason I used the whole termie arm to begin with. I have a metric Crapton of ornate detail bits that fit regular marine shoulder pads. And I was planning on doing more green stuff scales and other stuff as well. The scales on the tabard were a pain in the keister cause of my impatience...And the fact all my green stuff work is done with tooth and lock picks. Cause I'm too lazy to drive an hour to michaels for color shapers.

Well, another option is to simply shave down the terminator arm's shoulder so that a normal pad will fit...

Nice work. Good use of bits. Regarding the shoulder pad, the main part looks fine, but the edges aren't crisp enough. Maybe if you try and put another layer on thre now you can sharpen them up. Alternatively trim down what you can already to give nice clean lines. Or maybe a combination of the the two methods if you don't have enough space to trim just now. Also is the left hand meant to be a heavy flamer? I found that the old Guard vehicle heavy flamer nozzles fit quite nicely onto lightning claws

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Nice conversion. The unpainted shoulder pad reminds me of a ninja turtle.

Yah I was either gonna trim it with a razor cause I used a hardset. Or add the lip to the edges like normal space marine shoulder pads.
I also smoothed it more after it cured for 30 minutes so it looks better now.
And funny you should say it reminds you of a ninja turtle I based it off a tmnt comic I had cause it was right there!!!!

He's looking a bit bland to be honest. Maybe file off the aquila and do some GS work on the chest and maybe some details on the legs. Also the scaled loincloth is rounded while the cloak is more ragged. I suggest doing the cloth first, then the scales over that after it cures.

He will definitely be getting more detail. Especially on his legs. And the Aquila thing is something I have thought of, although I'm not sure I want to undertake something that intensive yet. This is my first real conversion and attempt at greenstuff like this. And I see what you mean about the loincloth I'm gonna see what I can do to fix that.
And the reason I used the bits I did. Is because I had most of them and got the others for a 1$ a pop. So this model cost me something like 5-6$ as opposed to the 25$GW charges. And it's my own design haha.
