Just some fluff to take into consideration. This isn't meant to discourage you, just to give you some additional fluff points to consider when coming up with your dynasties history:
Necrons have stringent 'rules of war', which are enforced by the praetorians. No sneak attacks, no going for leadership targets, no assassins, you must declare your forces in advance, no leaving the designated battlefield etc. etc. etc. They like their wars 'civilized', honorable, and game-like.
Of course, they only consider it 'war' if they consider their opponent to be intelligent life, a status they do not bestow on 99% of the rest of the universe.
Deathmarks, for example, are not allowed in 'war', but ARE allowed when exterminating vermin, e.g. the vast majority of battles they partake in.
So how do your camo 'crons fit into this? I strongly suspect camouflage does not fit within the bounds of 'honorable warfare' as allowed by the Necron's rules of war.
Again, I don't mean this as a criticism or implied limitation. I think it opens numerous interesting avenues of fluff.
Perhaps they are a mercenary faction, that specializes in 'exterminating vermin'. The may have special skills in fighting non-necron forces, and thus have taken full advantage of their freedom from the rules of war.
They could be Eldar hunters. Necrons have classified the Eldar as honorless and uncivilized, and thus undeserving of being treated as honored foes.
Or they could be an outcast dynasty, dishonored in the eyes of their brethren. There are a lot of directions you could go with this.
Finally, perhaps they are a special organization with an ancient mission from the Silent King. Tyranid hunters? Warp specialists?
Camo Necrons are rare for a reason, they cannot be a part of regular Necron society. While you can totally just ignore this piece of fluff and do your own thing, I think taking it into account and working with it could provide some very interesting flavor for your army.
