My main recommendation ... is probably to up it to 1000 points so you can use the models that you've got, and have a bit more of a game.

On the list, I'd use your last 10 points to buy the knights a musician (combat reform once they blow through whatever they charge first). That or grab your exalted a biting blade + charmed shield.

Or swap the exalted hero to a sorcerer so you can play in another phase of the game?

Sorcerer - biting blade, charmed shield, spell familiar, barded steed (126) + musician for the knights (10)

Thanks man. Didn't even notice I was under by 10 points. I'll try out both the champion and the sorc.
When running the sorc, is it safe to run him with the knights? - as I had intended with the exalted.
Would it pose limits on his casting ability? I know its a little strange fluff wise but I think it could work.
Would it however, in term of gameplay?

I'd run any Sorc you add with the Warriors. They are your Anvil, and can take the most punishment. Give them MoT so their Parry save becomes 5++. Personally, I would run the Hero with a group of Warriors as well.

Personally I would leave the knights out until you play at least 1k.

Add knights when going to 1k or more.
This army has some more color as well as magic.

I'd be more inclined to drop the knights and try to fit in a 40block of marauders with MoK and great weapons, then do what you have to in order to bring in a caster, replace the hero should work fine, you'll even have enough points free to include wolves.
