Im working on a codex for my little brother's birthday that is coming up. I also want to make a small 500pt army to accompany it, does anybody have any ideas for converting clone troopers? Thanks.

I think casting helmets would be a must. I can't think of any AM stuff I've seen that resembles clone troopers. maybe you would be able to find a starwars toy that is suitable in size to make a mold from. unfortunately the lego guys are gonna be a little out of scale

Tau would be my bet for the base of the figures, though. The rifles are similar and so is the armor. Just new heads and maybe round barrels in place of the 2x4 rifles.

Cadian or Firewarrior for base of the model. You will be hard-pressed t find a scale clone helmet, so you will have to sculpt and cast your own.

Lasguns seem decently close to E-33 Blaster rifles if mixed with pulse rifles. This is only a Vague similarity.

Tau legs, cadian feet, cadian torsos, sculpted heads, things like that. Take a look at real clonetroopers and then go through the range of models.
