where am I? *looks around* Well i'm...errr...I...I...don't know!

Recently I've been more than disappointed with the White Dwarfs, they seem to be trying to cover a the same content in very little depth when compared to the older ones (of a couple of years) which were more "mostly the main topic (eg. army release)" with other articles on other systems. Of particular failure I feel that the battle reports they do are severly lacking, they give no real read where I used to really enjoy reading a report on two fully painted armies on (often) cool terrain. Now we're lucky if we get a battle report let alone a full one, more often than not its a couple of points next to a picture (which shows nothing!)
I know that it was never the height of literature or journalism but it was enjoyable. Now it is most definitely not worth the £4.50 it costs!

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Yes, plenty of us have the same opinion-in fact, I seem to remember plenty of threads saying the same thing. "Search" is your friend.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

It's been "going downhill" for 5+ years now.

I'm not exactly sure how much more downhill it can go that doesn't involve religious afterlife beliefs being involved.

As stated before there are many threads agreeing with you. I have never bought an issue and all these oppionions are preventing me from buying one.

I do apologize. I just started giving word to my thoughts, that's what the internet is for most of the time anyway...and yet GW don't seem to take any of the internet points seriously?

Feel free to delete the thread mods, apologies for clogging the forum with repeats of complaints.

Even the battle reports are going downhill. Remember when you got a detailed report of a battle with diagrams? Now you get two turns slimmed down into about 1/2 a page of text with a single annotated photo of the "game", where the photos just happen to focus on the new releases, which must be a coincedence, as GW would never simply use the magazine as an ad-rag like it appears. They care too much about their customers to do that.

GW doesn't trust or like the internet. It's more a necessary evil they have to deal with.

There's a reason that they shut down their forums.

GW don't give a dam what their fan base think, nor do they have too for the time being, because if they close their eyes the problem of the interwebs is gone.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

Better yet, use the search function on your browser, there's a large thread about this still on the first page.
