Ok so I've read the Sanguinor's profile and he just seems EPIC. I was wondering if:

A. Anyone knew a suitable model for him because his model just doesn't appeal to me. I was Thinking of using the EC

B. Why does no one take him? He just seems freaking immense for one guy.

I take him in my counts as EC list. My oldschool metal winged DP model is just perfect for him.

I've seen him wreck face, but he isn't a must have. Also the fact that his sargent upgrade is to a random sargent can get pretty annoying. I know which of the 5 guys I want to get it, and which of the two of the five I really don't. But you get what the dice let you have.

He's an alright hero, mostly a nice beatstick, but he does pretty well.

Though a bit expensive, so I probably wouldn't take him below 2000 points.

Deffinitely take him, but only in bigger games. If you plop him with a unit of sanguinary guard in a flying toaster, you can march them across the board and beat the unholy living crap out of everything

He's not an IC, so he cannot join a unit.

You can simply find a model you like, and then slap some angel wings on it. Instant counts as.

See this squig right here? Totally The Sanguinor! I think he's easy enough to convert up, you just need to make sure he's ostentatious enough that folks don't mistake him for a Sanguinary Guard.

It's the Squiguinor!

People don't take the Sanguinor because it introduces another element of random to an already random game.

Random isn't "competitive".
