So I realized recently that command squads could take storm shields in addition to their weapons so I immediately set out to build my ubbr command squad. All the vets have a meltagun, lightning claw and storm shield. I plan on paring them up with a captain armed with a relic blade, stormshield and artificier armor. I knew I'd have to use terminator lightning claws and I was a bit concerned that they'd be too big but I'm happy with how they came out. I'll likely deploy them in either a pod or a storm raven in big games. I didn't want to have to model meltaguns as it just wouldn't work visually so I integrated the meltaguns into the lightning claws.

Multicolored sand. It was from one of those places where you fill a glas bottle with different colors of sand to make a design. I also used some of the stuff that comes with gw basing kit.

Thanks, I was worried they'd be too big. I had wanted to use the meltapistols from the sanguinary guard box but they were too pricey to bitz order.
Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.
