Hello fellow gamers I thought I would give you guys a look at the Dreadnought for my custom chapter: The Ash Dragons
All C&C appreciated

Edit: here it is with a base rim and I touched up the right foot as I felt it blended in with the base too much.

It looks damn good, maybe a bit of color variation to bring out few small details?

Love the base - I think tidying up the rim to be solid black would make it really "pop" though

Also, what can you tell us about the Ash Dragons? Are they a Salamanders successor?

I agree about the base, I forgot to do that. Yes, The Ash Dragons are indeed a successor chapter to the salamanders, however they prefer to crush the enemy with punnishing long range fire in addition to the salamanders traditional fighting style. There will be lots of sterngaurd, a riflemen dread, a predator/vindicator or two, etc. in my army once it has been completed.

If they're a successor chapter to the Salamanders, what about adding some dark green as a highlight colour? I see you have a little bit on the front, so use that same colour on the purity seal on the right arm. I'd then drybrush the skulls with that same colour.

For burn marks on the multimelta, my buddy drybrushes Tin Bitz (Warplock Bronze?) over the tips and then drybrushes the base metal colour over that to blend it in.

Fantastic job on the base by the way. I echo the above comments that painting the rim black to clean it up would help tremendously.
