Sorry if this has been posted before, but I haven't seen it anywhere else and it's kinda worth a topic of its own.

A lot of people seemed to be very angry about the rumored changes in the 40k fluff about Space Marines now being BFFs with the Tau. I guess this confirms it. GW put out an official Mission pack for Warhammer World, including an Alliance Matrix. The pack is supposed to come out at roughly the same time as the 6th edition starter.



Some really weird things in there. Grey Knights can ally with pretty much everyone except Chaos and 'Nids. Chaos actually get's Guard support (which fits just perfectly with my current army project) but Tyranids don't get any allies at all. So much for Genestealer Cults.

I thought necrons and BA would be "brothers in arms"?

That chart doesn't confirm anything except how a doubles tournament is set up for choosing teams. I can't believe how many people in a couple threads believe that this has any connection to 6th edition.

It's because, for some reason I can't fathom, people STILL think BoLS is a reliable rumours source that knows what they're talking about instead of just parroting what other websites say.


Except for their Warmachine/Hordes spoilers, which are actually supplied to them by the company.

I guess this topic can be closed then.

Just to make a point, what is wrong with Nid to "ally" with Necrons. Makes sense that it could happen that the necrons just follow the nids around for protection in the battle and the tyranids don't eat or attack the necrons because they are not usable biomass.
