I'll build as much as I can (going to LGS around 12:00-ish) in the time I have, take pics around 5:00 and upload them in the evening...
unfortunately my mum's gone off to geneva (switzerland) on a business trip, will be back saturday and going off again monday, so I have no idea if she'll be too tired to show me how to upload the pics (I'm hopeless with computers- upload this and dowload that, system errors, ect.)
Oh, and to make it easier, how do you upload to dakka? I did it a while back, but that was with a different PC and camera.

if you have the pics on your pc then that is easy peasy...go to your gallery and then you select upload more pics...then you can upload 10 pics at the same time each so this may take a while...you have to place the pics in a suitable folder on your pc...and then you jsut pick each pic and upload it ...rather easy...even i could do it first time^^

Just checked out the "Upload" thingy, and it all makes sense (for once).
So, just to make sure:
take pics -> USB cable goes into laptop -> save under my pictures -> dakka gallery -> browse -> upload?

really the dreaded knight? well i for one would not get into that... maybe if you convert it to the thing hit_the_spot had made ... that would be cooler...

The idea sounds crap to me, but I love the model and I don't know why...

with what colors do you want to work to make GKs? i can do some tests to make a scheme as a suggestion for you if you like...i am not so bought on these of yours atm...

would do them tomorrow as i got a sore throat today...illness...and am a bit tired rightz now so will be heading for bed now...

I might have black with red inset pads and bone robes...

Okay so the GK dread has gone well...
Imagine a librarian dreadnought...
with all the libby and BA symbols cut off...
with a storm bolter mounted on top of the blade of the NFW...
with a giant storm bolter, with 7 barrels arranged in a circle mounted on a dread...
with the dreadknight bare pilot head inside instead of the death mask...
with a few GK symbols stuck on for good measure...
and there you have my dreadnought.

My dreadknight has the heavy incinerator (flamethrower)-type thing and the giant sword.
That's all I've built so far, and because of mother's day today (going out) and all, I don't know if pics will happen...
I also have, unassembled, 10 terminators, 5 PAGK's, an inquisitor being shipped and a partridge in a pear tree.
Later on, I will be buying a vindicare assassin, 5 more PAGK, 4 psykers, 3 crusaders and repainting my chimera and IF libby (diorama is not gonna happen anytime soon)

the psykers i was always bothered with... ow many different models are there currently? to make a real psyker battle squad there aren´t enough different ones available...

as for your GK dread... i sincerely wait know eagerly for pics to happen as i have quite big difficulties to picture that one for myself...^^

go on and you have your hands full like me^^ gosh there must be a nation we all here on dakka alone could buy up with all that plastic we buy for serious money...

yeah...
the psykers can unleash a S3 AP6 5" blast shot, but for every extra psyker, it gains +1S and -1AP, so 4 gives me a S6 AP3 5" blast shot a turn for 40pts.

i am not so eager on DKoK... steellegion would be nicer for me to be honest... but the prices for now make me hesitant... a commissar is a nice oportunity...this will have to go into further thought sessions...

the 5 PAGK's are built-
one stabbing downwards, finishing off an injured enemy,
one just looking around,
one holding his NFW like a pike, trying to impale a charging foe,
one spreading flames from his incinerator,
one about to swing his hammer two-handed.

sounds cool... does the sprueparts support these poses easyly or did you have to cut much and reposition them to fir your descriptions?

All were easy to do, with the exception of the hammer guy (his arms and hammer had to be glued simultaneously to make sure it fitted).
the stabbing guy was a simple matter of cutting the blade off and pinning and gluing it back on the other end.

needless to say that a pic might go a million miles more eh?

Spraying of the dread and PAGK's will happen today, but instead of me visiting dad on suday, he's pushed it forward to tomorrow, so I'll take pics if I have the time.
