Considering in nids the zoanthropes and venomthropes have always sold well and been popular I can't imagine GW would get rid of them. If they wanted to cut chaff they could drop boivores and pyrovores. It's far more likely they'll be replaced in a second wave - if we are really lucky we might get something new as well at the same time. I doubt they will drop biovores; those have been in the tyranid army for a long time. Pyrovores are more likely to get axed if GW has the urge to delete units. I don't think many people have them.

There is an answer to that in the WD 40 issue. It explains what it's for. Can't remember for the life of me, but I just rolled my eyes when I read it.
Found it: An extra spinal column feeds any absorbed material directly back to the Toxicrnes's gas sacs. Word for word, sorry if that is not allowed.

So is it true the only way to get the rules for these models is to buy the digital copy of the white dwarf, if so that is a bummer I was at least hoping they would put them in the box that would make sense.

I don't know where you heard that. The rumor so far has been that they will be in the box with the figures and in the White Dwarf.
There is even a seperate thread where someone is complaining about this bothering their OCD

They're trying to demonstrate the Tyranids using "intelligent" (or at least design-by-committee) self-design?

I think I recall reading that the rules in the model will only be in English (or might be in a limited number of languages) so those in other countries might have to use the White Dwarf reference

Heard this from GW read it on the description on the website says that the full rules for using this model can be found in issue 40 of the white dwarf.

Hopefully that is just a sales tactic to increase sales of White Dwarf that week, giving us a sneak peak a the rules before buying it.
I'd like to say White Dwarf only is a stupid move they wouldn't do, but they did do that with the Ork flyers.
Hopefully they have learned from that incident and are smart enough to include a scrap of paper with the stats in the box.
In the last year, we did get the Gorkanaut/morkanaught, Looted Wagons, and Flash Gitz. rules in White Dwarf. The Ork codex was released within a month of that, so no need to inlclude the stats, but since the Tyranids probably don't have a new codex looming any time soon, it would make sense to include the rules this time.

Just to clarify I think its the campaign book (Nids VS Bloodangels I think) that is going to be english only not the model rules - which suggests another very limited print run item
