So I finished my first Warjack today. The pics are quite washed out, taken with a cellphone camera, but I thought I'd share anyway.

The grey isn't actually lacking good coverage, but is a dark grey drybrushed with a bit of black and then a lot of light grey to create a kind of urban-camo-ish effect. Looks good, but on the pics you'll see it best on the loincloth thingy.

Hope you like it, and will post better pics if I get hold of a better camera.

And you know what's funny? "feth" is actually censored on a forum about a dystopia where the nice guys are the ones who kill only millions of innocents, not billions.

Looking good! as said before, clean colours, and I love the contrast of the bright red on the darker grey, it's a nice change form the ones on the box.

It looks really good! Subtle, realistic, and well done

Thank you for the praise. And really, some day I will find a way to get better pictures. I'll probably wait until there are more models to show, though.

Looks. The colors are simple, yet effective. One thing I'd change would be painting the bolts, probably in Boltgun Metal or a silver tone.

nah, the bronze/gold bolts work well (imo)
i especially like the crisp colour scheme, good work

Orks 1500 points (deathskull/speedfreaks army)
Sisters of battle 1000 points (order of the turquoise rose)

Thanks. The bolts are actually painted, there is just too little contrast for them to show, especially on the red. And I even painted the bolts on red in steel, the bolts on grey in bronze to get better contrast. It didn't really work well enough.

The contrast matter bothers me anyway - with so much painted as steel, the grey may actually be a bad colour choice. So I am thinking about changing the scheme and repainting the grey areas on the model.
