so this is the start of my painting blog, ive been painting for years now and have a new project starting its the red knights, essentaly grey knights but red. the scheme is from white dwarf where the eavy metal teamm did a stage by stage for the space hulk captin. The paints have changed since then so i will be using gw new colours to do the job instead, oh also its in nmn too. I wont makethis post to long as im new to the forum

a litle more wotk then the test model is complite, ive had to change a few colours but now i should be able to paint em up a little faster as i know what colour goes where. Theres some base work to do and a little few highlights then its job done

Quite flat and clean, though if that was what you wanted then its a very nice flat and clean look

I like them ! I mean, I should, since my GKs have the same colour base.

As a suggestion, I'd use different colours for the blades and the scriptures on the armour plates. If you really want to have your secondary colour as blue, maybe give your guys green power weapons and helmet lenses.
It feels strange for 2 very different parts of the model sharing the same exact colour.

I must say I'm jealous at how clean and crisp you colors came out. Very nice indeed. I have a painting & modeling blog up where I have been painting Paladins red as well. Check it out if you get a chance. A few suggestions, first mold lines. Try to get more of them off before painting. I noticed your guy the the Halberd has a few still on his weapon. I don't know If you plan to, but a wash and some highlights add so much more detail to a model. As someone else mentioned here and on my thread, using green for force weapons and helmet lenses really does tend to go a long way in terms of how interesting a model can look. Overall, good job!

ive decided to give into peerpressure, and will be ajusting the colours accordingly. Were going for black helmets n sholder pads, green eyes and some regular metalic work to speed things up. will put up some wip pics later........

I was going to do some wip, but i finished the guy so i thought i would pop him up hear, theres some obvious diffrences and some slight tweaks so i can have the army finished off sooner, ive skipped the red wash and the nmm are gone. the heads in black was too mutch to carry so the pads are now black and theres some green eyes too. The gloss i use has gone walkabouts so at a later date i will add some shine to the swords and the slimey base.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh they are all dead now!! well i got a air brush and done the army up in silver instead. going to do a blog on my ork army instead as its a ongoing mission-nearly 200 boyz todate, incidently i feel gw should change the term boyz as it feelz inapropriate to callthem such things
