Me and 4 buddies (new to 40k) just built a 4x8 table in my basement and are looking to expand our gaming community. Any local dakka users interested in some house games let me know. We also like to play large multiplayer house rules games.

Wish you guys were closer. I am in middlesex county. Have you checked out Maplewood Hobby in Maplewood NJ. They have 40 hours of 40K this weekend starting saturday morning at 8 am. Check out their website. It's a hike for you guys but good times assured.

Let me know when you guys find a venue. I don't mind a little extra driving and my local FLGS is dominated by they 13 to 16 year bracket. Being 30 I would like a more mature gaming scene.

I'm from Trenton NJ. My FLGS is The Only Game in Town in Somerville NJ, it's a bit of a hike for you guys but it's a great store / group of players.

As far as game stores in south Jersey I tend to go to Gamer's Realm for 40k
Gamer's Realm in Hamilton

I usually go to Top Deck games for Magic Vintage but I learned they have 40k recently.

South NJ/Philly

We've got three great shops in the South Jersey area (it used to be 4, but the GW in Echelon just closed this passed weekend).

The newest shop is run by the guy who used to manage the GW, Outside the Box Games in the Echelon Mall/Voorhees Town Center. I was just at their 40k doubles tournament this Saturday, and they're hosting a midnight release for 6th Ed 40k this Friday. It's really a great shop.

There's the aforementioned Top Deck Games in Westmont, which is a really nice shop that I've been to. They're really close to a great pub/restaurant called the Pour House too.

There's All Things Fun in Berlin, off of Rt 73. They were primarily a WM/HD shop, but they're doing 40k and WHFB as well. Also a very nice store.

One other shop that's really nice is a bit further away, but is also awesome (they have run effectively a GT in there) is Showcase Comics and Games in Media PA, in the Granite Run Mall. It's run by Mikhalia, who posts here.

If you are also interested you could come to Outside the Box games in the Voorhees Town center(Old Echelon Mall). It has a great community and he runs events almost every month. It has been open for about a month now but he ran the Voorhees GW for about 2 years.

I'm not far from you in Cookstown. Just moved here a few months ago. Been looking for a group myself. Been down to Voorhees a couple times before the GW closed, but it's kinda a drive to get a wargaming fix every week.

Philadelphia

I'm in Northeast Philly along the I95 Corridor, 20 mins from the Ben Franklin (with good traffic - ha!), the exit below Franklin Mills Mall.

I'm also 30 mins or so from Trenton NJ.

We have a small group that plays in my basement and are always looking for players (or other non-store groups to play with).

We've got one 4x8 table, and one 4x6 table, with room for 1 or 2 more tables of similar size.

My question is when do you all play. My usual free time is weekday evenings, rather than weekends.
