New game from West Wind Productions, the producers of Incursion.

Game is a skirmish lvl steampunk game with several different Gothic/ Victorian era gangs.

I'm a real fan after checking it out for a day.

Theres a pretty good deal for 130 GBP's over at west wind.

I'm really digging sherlock and the ripper one.

I see a very good crossover with several different minis from Reaper, and those other steam punk goodness out there.

Who will be the first to pop out the League of Extrodinary Gentleman/woman


The zombies are really tight, and the crisp look of the westwind figs really has me.

Just picked this up at Triples today, along with the Brotherhood starter. Looks like it could be good fun, especially as the rules for special characters (such as Holmes & Watson) are apparently going to come out as a free PDF.

I also picked the Rulebook up at triples. Had a read last night and looks good. Thinking of stocking it actually so it must have impressed....

Here are a sample of some of the characters and the Gents faction. I can see a very good place for use of some Malfaux Tarranscape scenery.

If anything ever made me want to purchase some of that stuff, this game just did it for me.

Then theres the little bit about the zombies. They as well, would go great in the Malfaux game for some extra .... punch.

As in the Anno Dracula books? No idea, never read them. But the Vamps are just one faction.

The human faction - The Gentlemens Club - has three variants that you can play that adjust them slightly (better at shooting but not arcane, Better at Arcane but not as brave etc) that effectively means the single Human faction is actually four so the Humans are the dominant force in it.

It could be a 'Twilight the Game' I suppose!!! lol

To clarify, the Gentlemen's Club isn't the only human faction in the game.

The initial five starters are The Brotherhood/Holy Order, Vampire Clan/Nosferatu, Gentlemen's Club, Lycaon/Werewolves & Victorian Zombies.

There are also a bunch of merc-style special characters - shown at Triples & in the book are the Gallows Hag, the "Deathlight" Reaper, Cedric Hyde, Holmes & Watson, a Cirque du Noir Man Ape, Lady Luck and Mr Chops, the Demon Butcher. I've also seen two limited models - a Butler and Professor Erazmus.

I don't think the Zombies are a 'starter' in themselves.

I think they are for use with the Darkfire club variant of the Gentlemen's Club as they can raise Zombie Mobs.

But I will take another look through to book - Make sure I didn't miss something.

Check pages 140-142 in the book, TG - EOTD5 (the Zombies) is listed with the other Starter sets.

The first supplement is available as a free PDf download from the West Wind forum - Gentlemen & Jackanapes, though unfortunately it doesn't seem to include rules for the Ltd Ed Butler model.
