The only way i know how to paint my salamanders are with old Gw paints so i was wondering if some one had any new ideas or a full conversion chart for what old = what new
- i know there are more now but as close as possible to thrakka green wash

use vallejo game color or reaper paints to have access to older colors

The conversion chart is worthless honestly.. The new paints for the most part does not match up to the older paint line

is there at least a color made by anyone that looks like thrakka green wash or can be watered down into a VERY similar colour.

The new paint formula is not the same as the old one. The best your gonna get is a close match. I suggest using a test model and taking notes.

I was super sad when i walked into the LGS and saw the old paints were gone. No one does mettalics like GW

Have you tried mixing paints to get the hue you want ?
I wouldn't really call this a crisis. I faced a similar issue when GW did away with Blood Angel Orange paint. It wasnt hard to use a lighter highlight color over blood red to get the same tone matched.

it still dosent match the others and it needs to be a wash not a color or foundation

well washes are simply paint that tints the color, so you can make a wash out of any color you want.. Best thing to do is experiment with different green washes..

Shop around a little bit. Ebayers still have the old paints, so do some online retailers. Buy enough that you will be able to complete your force, then never look back.

Thankfully these paints were released before I started my Vostroyan force. I bought all new so I didn't have to deal with this problem.

Good luck with this, luckily with my space wolves I mainly drybrush to achieve the right colour, I feel your pain, truly, If you were in the UK I could have swapped you, my LHS has plenty of the old range in stock
