Greetings All,

Im new to this forum and also a recent returnee to warhammer 40k in general (i joined and left over the 2nd ed/3rd ed cross over). Why the long absence you may ask? well i was 13 when i started the hobby, and my parents generally bought my miniatures for me, then things changed, parents stopped buying me stuff and i couldn't afford to continue the hobby any longer.

over the last 10+ years i have been tempted to resurrect my passion for the TT, but alas, being a college-then uni- student, and the disgusting price increases of the hobby (SM tactical squad multi-part plastic kit rising from £10 to £25 IS disgusting) i have not be in a position to do so. so i have managed to "satiate my battle lust" with the numerous video games (DoW) and Black library offerings. However with a change of job, and subsequent increase in salary, i have broken my bonds of normality and re joined the ranks of the GW fanboys haha!

not by design, but as a coinsidence, my "re-awakening" into the 41st millenium co-insided with the Revamp of the one race i was interested in collecting, the Necrons. i have amassed a sizable collection already, thanks to eBay (my painting skills were shoddy at best 13 years ago, and back then, to play in a GW store you have to use painted models only) which i am adding to currently.

i have a number of lists i have been running in my Local GW store which, to date, dont perform very well against a myriad of opponents. Suffice to say i shall be posting a couple of them for critique and advice.

anyways, thats my introduction, i look forward to conversing/debating/trolling(kidding) with you all.
