Hi all,

I've been lurking for quite awhile, so I figured I would share my Coteaz =I= themed army. I was mainly a WHFB player, but I said I'd take the plunge when the new Demon Hunter book dropped. Now I have an embarassingly large GK army, of which the pictures below are just a part.

Much of this army was rescued/reconditioned from models I got second hand, so I can blame the majority of assembly imperfections on someone else.

Thanks for looking.

First - the Lord of the Formosa Sector himself:

Librarian:

Ordos Malleus Inquisitor (and sometimes Mordrak)

Ghost Knights

Inquisitor and Assasins

Inquisitorial Retinue

Terminators

Henchmen with Storm Bolters

Death Cult

Dread Knight

Inquisitorial Psykers

GK Interceptors

Dread and Purifiers

Razorbacks

More Henchmen

I like the OSL on Coteaz's hammer. I really don't like that Inquisitor though. Those legs are tiny.

Wow...
This army is full of win!
I love all the conversion work, and these ghost knights are really awesome (at least model wise... the fluff is stupid).
I'd love to play against these guys.
Do you have group shot too?

Very nice. What're the models you used for SB henchmen, dca and psykers?

The Psykers are "Slicks" - got the idea from 3++ : http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/slicks-pack-1970-p.asp

SB Henchmen are Wargames Factory Greatcoat Shock Troopers, slightly modded to have the storm bolters.

DCA are from Confrontation - just some repainting. "Griffins of Akkylannie "

@BlapBlapBlap - which inquisitor are you talking about? If you are talking about the Malleus, it could be a trick of the photo. Those are ordinary GK Terminator legs, but the mud might beblendsing them into the base on the pic.

Thanks for the feedback!

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

I hate GK's, but I really love the way this army looks. Full of win as someone already stated.

I have to say that crazy screaming preacher with the eviscerator in the inquisitor's retinue is bloody fantastic! He's got so much character you can almost hear him screaming hateful rhetoric at the enemies of the emperor!
On the whole that's a very nice force with some very well thought out conversions and to top it a dreadknight with a frankly brilliant colour scheme, well done sir!

Bloody Brilliant!! My only quip is that the Ghost Knights are normal Terminators, instead of GKT. Still spectacular though!

Very cool army! I'm beginning to groan and not even bother clicking on grey knight posts. Who really wants to see another bland and generic grey knight army.

Well, I'm glad I clicked on your post because this army has loads of character and detail and the conversion work makes it really interesting. You also painted it rather well and I love the little details, like dust on the coats and the iconography and heraldry.

I'm also glad to see you have some really weird and non-standard unit choices, like the servitors. Stuff like that makes this a great army! Well done!

Your storm bolter Henchmen and psychers are incredible! I'd love to know how you made them!

Wow, awesome. My favorites are the ghost knights, the henchmen, the kasrkin guys, and the preacher. I also like the Dreadknight and the inquisitorial chimera a lot.

Thanks

The Storm Bolters are from one of the dread kits - picked them up on Ebay from a bits dealer for pretty cheap as I recall. The troopers are Wargames Factory shock troopers,. The kitbash was literally cutting part of their rifle off and gluing on the storm bolter. Easy as pie.

Paint-wise, they are based in P3 "great coat grey".

The psykers are the stock "Slicks" model (link above) - and I used some =I= decals I made from the sheet @ BoLS.
