So here's my first shot at a Highlander, I will say that this is the hardest model i've ever done just because its so fething small. Enjoy, C&C would be greatly appreicated.

And next to a space marine for scale comparison.

Interesting. That kilt alone looks like a pain in the ass. Good job, be sweet to see more in the future.

Thanks I think i'm going to switch the head gear to black with a gold or red feather accent. And I actually had to have my girlfriend do the kilt cause my bigger hands and less patience wasn't working to well. It was a major pain in the ass and the best part is that there is 60 little buggers in the box

Congratulations on your kilt I know I couldn't paint that . Ouch!

The only poorly painted miniature is the one that is not painted.

Alas, if only we were all so fortunate to have our better halves readily do the most skilled work for us...

We're in college and she's actually an art major so she should be good at it, but i'm glad she's around.

Here's a ginger sergeant

Here's both of them together, I think black on the hat looks a lot better than blue. Drummer and Pipper to follow soon.

Great looking figs and a nice paint job, though I think the size may be off some.

Eastern Frontier Exploratores
224th Astra Legion (main army)
628th Praetorian Guard Cohort (wife's army)
827th Auxilia Cohort (ad mech fun)
825th Foderati Cohort (in the beginning army)
1212th Foederati Cohort - Jokaero (cause I like apes with guns)

The comparison to the SM was just so you could see how small they are. I was thinking in the future they might be used as a stand in for a imperial guard army but making heavy weapon teams and tanks to match would be a pain. Plus I'm not even done with my space marines, this is just a fun little extra project.

The guy kneeling needs his knee painted, you've painted it white like his sock, it should be flesh coloured.

My girlfriend noticed this too and I fixed it and it looks a lot better.
