Up in Killeen TX. Not to far from you. There is a large group of gamers and many different systems to chose from. 40K, and Warmachine are the top two seen played. WHFB, Malifaux, Dystopian wars, Flames of War, and other games are played often enough. It might be worth the drive for you to come up, maybe 40 minutes at most.

Dragon's Lair off of Burnett Rd is where I play. It's on the north side of Austin and pretty easy to get to from 35. I'm nit sure what night their 40k is (I'm sure their website has a calander up), but they have a fairly lively mtg and fantasy night Tuesday, and Warma-Hordes weds.

Cool i might check it out. its just when i went in there the first time, it seemed like a ghost town..

Yeah, it's hit or miss before 6 due to the "Parking Lot Wars" with the religious trinkets store next door.

On a side note, I played a warmachine game at DL against a Cody today... Happen to be you?

Unfortunately not sir. And the parking lot war could get ugly if my knights have no room to party?!?

Thursday nights are when the 40K fanatics come out to play at Dragon's Lair. The community is very active and there are tournaments at DL the first Sunday of the month. See you there! No problem. Also, WarGamesCon is coming the weekend of June 21-24. The whole crew will be there, either volunteering or playing.

I might take a peek at that, but not making any promises.
