hi guys.
im really considering getting into infinity but had some questions. ive only read the quick start rules so far but am wondering, can you duplicate a figure?
i was also wondering why figures have names that imply that they are part of a unit but they only look like 1 fig?

thanks!

Could you elaborate?

Duplicate? Do you mean take several of the same model? Both yes and no. It would depend on their AVA (availability).

Do you have a particular example of a single figure with a name that implies it belongs in a unit?

The naming conventions may be a bit weird. Almost all models' names are pluralized to indicate what unit they are a part of.

This unit is named "Tankhunters" but the product itself is just a single model. It's actually part of the stat-block named "Tankhunters".

This unit is named "Metros", and the product itself has two miniatures. BOTH are part of the stat-block named Metros, both have the same stats, but the only difference is that one has a rifle and the other has a DEP (the rocket-launcher thing).

It's a naming convention.

i was also wondering where to find all of the stats for the models. i downloaded what looks like an army list from the website however it is missing some models as well as the entire aleph army.

If you look under the 'downloads' section, then click on 'English' there are two options there. The second one, 'human sphere' includes all of the rules for Aleph.

The reason being they were part of the first expansion are the newest faction, and were not part of the original rulebook.

Another way of doing it is just to look through the Army Builder.
