Okay so I have 40 models that need to be painted. I need you guys to tell me if you see a difference in these two units? Please note that I rushed through these and that I need these to be table top ready not WD worthy lol. So main point is can you notice a difference? Oh yeah, tubes will be changed. This was for picture purposes. I plan on doing blue or purple. Leaning to blue

The one on the right has a bit better contrast. I think. XD Not a huge difference really.
Both could use a wash, perhaps. Unless, again, the light is playing tricks on me. XD

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?
The correct audience is you. |

The cron on the left seems a tad darker in the "joints" and perhaps the reds are different? But they look fine together and if people didn't know that they were different, they wouldnt know.

Until I read the above comments I would have sworn the one on the right had a wash and the one on the left did not. I think they would look better with a wash, but are fine as is, too. Not too much wash, just enough to make the details pop.

Joints are a tad different color (left is more orange to me).
Red on right is darker, but that's probably light play.
Other than those 2 things, and I'm being a stooge about it, they look very similar. If you don't mention it, your opponents probably won't notice.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one? |

I think the difference in lighting outweigh any slight differences in the colouring
They both look really good as well, by the way! A bit more definition on the teeth on the guy on the left might be useful, though.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Yeah the head got hit with some wash on accident and it blotched it up.
Here's the deal, I have 40 warriors to paint before I can buy anything new... The guy on the right took an hour or so to paint. For me I'm looking for table top quality on my smaller guys. The type of quality that they look good on the table as a whole, and not so much individual detail. So the guy on the right was primed, washed, washed, painted, then lined with detail. Bam an hour. Guy on the left was primed, sprayed with army painters paint, then joints etc picked out with wash, then touch ups, gun, and details. 25 minutes. The outcome in time is well worth the switch for me as I can get these warriors cranked out.
However the one on the left since everything wasn't washed, then paint thinned to go over it, the armor is a little brighter than the one on the right. Is it possible to darken this speed paint a little?

That's an impressive time difference with no real difference in quality. Kudos dude.
Put half your bottle in another containter (another dropper bottle would be nice, check Michaels or online: USPlastics.com) and just slowly add drops of black until you hit the mark you want.
That's how I would do it.
